Another bad day at Long John Silver

Yet another bad encounter with Long John Silver! Sigh! I am getting sick and tired of complaining about them. OK this happened yesterday at around 8pm. I just came back from work. Tired, starving (as usual) and in a seriously bad mood.. pms-ing!! Met my brother Najib for dinner at yishun LJS. He ordered his grilled chicken rice set while i had Value Combo I, special requests for more crumbs/crusts.. whichever it is. Mine came first, without the crumbs. So i requested for more AGAIN. She took it away, her face smothered with some black clouds.. ready to release some heavy downpour, with rain and thunder and fierce lightning! And she said it will be ready in 3 mins.

Tick tock tick tock! Still no food in sight. 15mins later my brother's food came. Tick tock tick tock! Mine still not served. HOw long does it take to add crusts! For goodness sake, your restaurant lived by fried food! You have millions of crusts lying around in the fryer somewhere... does it take almost half hr just to add the darn crumbs onto my plate! Sigh...

And yes, ladies and gentlemen, my fateful meal came like 30 mins after. This was after i witnessed the damn LJS waitress (the same one who served me) sent the same meal to all the other customers who came much much later than i did! And finally when she came, she said these exact words "Oh sorry m'dm. We ran out of crumbs. So this is the your meal.." she claimed it's the one she offered 30 mins ago. First of all you lied abt the meal being the one you served half hr ago! The one that stood right in front of me was still flaming hot i could barely take a bite! Didn't you even learn about science and heat wave!!! Secondly, you could not even speak proper English and yet you are the frontmen serving customers. What did you learn from LJS? Isnt there proper training??? Thirdly, this is a FAST FOOD joint. You are suppose to serve food fast! Not like 30mins later! I might as well eat as a foodcourt for gods sake! Fourthly, don't they teach you never to let a hungry customer wait for too long for her/his food. And you know how bitchy a female customer can be? We are born with such sharp tongue and pettyness for a reason! Fifth, what is with the attitude back at the counter? Don't they teach you lessons on good customer service. What's the point of having the golden bell in your restaurant if no customer is going to ring it.. cos none of your staff deserves to be recognised for good service!

This shall be my last attempt to even try eating at LJS. Unless the government suddenly bans all the fast food places, and somehow due to some miracle that happen, LJS is the only one allowed to open for business, you will never see me in that place again! NEVER!
