Crappy Sunday

Had to send my brother, Najib to Larkin yesterday. Got up at 730am, quick shower and off we go. We wanted to escape the morning traffic at first link. But unfortunately, 9am is not early enough!! There was still a hold up at the causeway! Sigh.. wasted like 45mins to go through the singapore custom. I was dead sleepy! Had only 4 hrs of sleep ( I blamed the soccer matches on Saturday: Arsenal vs Bolton & Man U vs Aston Villas)... took a quick nap in the car..

Been having bad headaches the whole morning.. probably due to the lack of sleep and most likely the cause of... Anyway, we managed to reach Larkin by 10am that morning. Bought the ticket for Ajib and had breakfast at Macdonald -> The eventful venue for the scene that happened that morning. Ajib went to get hotcakes meal for Faz. He ordered the 3 hotcakes meal but instead they gave him the 2 hotcakes plus one sausage patty. Faz grumbled about it and asked ajib to change. So he obliged. The cashier gal gave him 2 hotcakes and removed the sausage. No third hotcakes was placed onto the plate. Faz grumbled again and ajib was too embarrassed to ask for a change the second time. And so, my two fav bros looked at me and said these exact words "Kak, go do your job and complain!"... what the heck was that suppose to mean???! Am i really a difficult customer???! Hmm.. oh WTH... i think i can be at times..

And so i went up to the counter, pointed to 3 of the Mac'D girls and gave them a piece of my mind in English.

Me: "EXCUSE ME! My brother ordered the 3 pcs hotcakes but u gave him 2 instead plus the sausage. He came and asked for a change, you lazy bums just removed the sausage and gave him back the 2 hotcakes!" Are you blind or dumb? Don't u know how to count? Where is the additional hotcake? DO you want me to repeat this in Malay?"

The girsl looked stunned and shaken. They nod their heads and added another hotcake to the plate. My bros laughed. And my mum scolded me for being rude to them. Well.. i know i was.. but that what happen when i am struck with a super bad headache and sleep deprivation! Sorry gals...

And so when ajib when over tot he counter to order chicken porridge for my mum (yes, malaysia MacD has it).. they gave us a complimentary hot tea to compensate for the mistake earlier and their hands shook when they gave him the change.. haha... I didnt know i can be that intimidating!

And so, my brother board the coach at 1030am. We were saddened by his departure and will miss him terribly... been the case all the time. What are we siblings to do... we are separated by distance, but our love knows no boudaries.

To you Ajib: Akak will always miss n love u. Awaits your next visit in Dec. And yes abg and akak will come to your graduation next yr.. Cant wait. Regads to all! Muaks!
