The Cryptic Tale of the "Other Woman"

This is the story of a person i know so closely, who runs her life as the other woman in a relationship. WHat is the deal with the term "other woman"? How do they live their life as a mistress, with the strong desire that they soon wll become the last woman standing in that forbidden relationship? And how is it that they can live each day, without guilt, loving the man who belongs to someone else? Let us explore what is going on in their mind... shall we??

The other woman, or i shall call the mistress. The devil, the bitch, the home wrecker! Those are some of the names that they will get for loving a man of their dreams. (Take note: This is written only for those who are in love with the man of her choice. Love that is so pure, money was never the main driving factor for her persistence to stay on. For the latter, you can F**K off Biatch. $ sucker!)

Anyway, based on real life account, i know of someone who is that state right now. Sometimes i wonder, if that smile she puts on is real or just to cover the pain in her heart. She has been in love with a guy since the first time she laid eyes on him. Their relationship is not atypical you might say. It is not even considered one, since most of them time the longest they were ever together was a month. Too many things happen, which she only discovered was due to the fact he was already taken all this while!
Now, everything is left in the open. He was honest towards her (or so she hopes silently). Despite knowing he has that someone else, she still carries on, loving him, caring him and wishing someday he will be hers entirely. She believes that he will change, even when others don't. She is certain that he will choose her in the end (...EVen though, she is seen as naive, stupid and utterly wasting her freaking time by her frens, peers and even family members). She has even willingly sacrificed her pride and her self respect. She tried to be fair, be impartial about it. Just so he can settle this as easily as possible with that other woman. SHe doesnt want to impose, cos she knows she has no right to. NOr does she wanna be an added burden to him. Her greatest fear is to lose him.

Is this true love? To sacrifice your own happiness for the sake of others? To bear the "label" others give you just so you wish all will end in your favour? Can you even have that 1% trust that its you he is going to choose? Are you so sure he will not return to her? And is worth all these sacrifices? DOes he even value you that much as to do the same for you in future? These are the questions that linger in her mind all the time.

Is this just plain stupidity? Is love really that blind? Does love cripple us too, that all words of advise from people who cares for her, just befall on deaf ear!

What others see as a disgusting act of selfishness, i see it as sincerity. I cant say how this will end. But, everything has a beginning and an end. The most impt question is, who's fairytale is it going to be for -> Hers or yours. Till then, she will always be seen as the betrayer to all womanhood (the lack of guilt and compassion towards another woman), the 2nd class lover (whom he turns to whenever he feels like it) and the invisible lady (who is never to be seen in public, with him).

HEnce people, before we judge another being, let us ponder. Are we pointing our fingers to the right person? Is she solely to be blame? Are we being fair? LIfe is never simple. The beautiful tales we see on tv are just a scenery one wishes to paint. But are rarely the true reflection of our lives.

To all you "women": Do persevere on what you believe in.. Do not let others shake your beliefs
nor ruin your hopes and dreams!
But, as reality sets in, do ask yourself this: Should i stay or should i go? The truth of the story is, you will always be That other woman, in his eyes and others. It is your faith and beliefs that will give you the strength to continue in your quest to find that soulmate. And you pray that he finds you too.

.True Love waits.
