I did my run today! Had a sudden urge to do some justice to my body.. and exercise. I have been eating like a pig.. and look more and more like a hippo.. so i just HAVE to do something before i have trouble fitting thru my door. Hehe.. and also..to shut my bf up.. for calling me a glutton all the time.. (ya.. i have a weekness for food and desserts!)
I rushed home.. changed into my running gear. My brother had voluntered to run with me. He is the health fanatic one.. always doing pullups (on the metal pole outside my home. They are currently building a lift.. so had all this construction thingy going on out there. The timing cannot be even more perfect huh) and diamond pushups! OMG! Men and vanity!!
So we started our run at 7pm. Did a 20mins run... across the 400+ blocks -> Yishun Park -> The fitness area in the park. We worked out for like half hr. Did the usual pushups, steps, pullups, log lifting and situps. And continued another half km probably back home. In total, i think we covered like 3-3.5km!
Wow.. an achievement for me because i barely panted that much. I was no fish gasping for air!! A real big surprise indeed considering i have not been running since last ramadhan.. and till date, that would mean estimately 13 months!
Haha.. Been too long. I should start this regime again and get into shape.. I miss those times i had a flat tummy... sigh!!!
See syg, i can do smtg else besides eating. But... after the run, i had a huge bowl of maggie mee.. haha... there goes the effort. :(
