The outing continues

Its Sunday morning. Every single one of us got up between 10-11am in the morning.. or should i say Almost noon time! Surprisingly, even "mother hen" a.k.a my mum was up late..hehe.. Loking all fresh and pretty..we took pictures again..to remind us of the day.

The day just started for us.. we had to proceed to visit at least 7 houses today: Beginning with Mak ngah's house -> Abg Idris -> Abg Idrus -> Abg Isa -> Cik Sabariah -> Busu Zain -> Nenek Esa -> Chek Ah. The second house was a must as Kak Wati (my cousin's wife.. the chef for the spread you saw on the first day), will be cooking for us her specialty dishes. All of us, especially the kids (that means me, my cousin, Fazli and Najib.. yes we are still kids..you got a problem with that???!) made sure we came with our stomachs growling with hunger!

TO digress a little.. we took pictures on our way to Abg Idris's place.. snap snap here** snap snap there** Look photogenic everyone!

Ok.. back to the main story.. as you can imagine.. we ate like pigs. Kak Wati prepared for us mee hoon goreng, mee goreng, lontong goreng, lauk rawan and rice. Not to mention the delicious cakes like kek lapis, kek kukus and many more! We were soo stuffed by the time we left her place. Thank Kak Wati for the wonderful meal! It was realli yummy!.. And to all, presenting the famous chef herself and the quick snapshot of her heavenly creations..

A snap shot of her home, of course with our faces in it.. the house is super nice! They just moved.. not that far away from the old place. From Woodlands to Woodlands -> A change only in the block number -> and yes, their new cove is just across the road! I meant that literally.

With our heavy tummy.. we moved on to the next house. Rumah seterusnya untuk diserbu -> Abg Idrus! We had a fun Karaoke-ing session.. Just me and the cuzzies. I had to start the ball rolling. With my all time favourite song, Mungkin ny Anuar Zain. I was shaking as i sang the song. It was my first time, carrying a tune in front of my whole family! And ever supportive mum called me a "frog" cos i croaked! Haha.. mean mean!!! But everyone had fun. Even Najib entertained us with several Malay songs.

The highlight for the day was my two encounters with the cutest cats on earth. One was at Abg Isa's place. They just adopted a cat, a mix breed that costed $1200++.. This cat is so expensive that it even comes with original birth certificate, showing the family tree (apparently it has an Italian mum..hehe). And also a built in tracking microchip, just in case it gets lost. Its name is Jenggot (a slang for beard in Malay. It used to have one, till it got trimmed off). The cat is so tame and disciplined, that even i am daring enough to carry it in my arms! Sooo darn cute! Mummy can i have one....

And another avid fan of cats--- Chek Ah. She has 12 cats in total, living under the same roof as her HDB flat. The cutest of all is her orange cat, Lucas (named after the character in Starwars). This cat likes to sniff your toes. Very playful.. i screamed a lot as it seemed to like me most.Kept chasing me around in the house, like as if it can sense my fear!

Well.. that marked the end of our house visits! The day ended at 12am sharp! We were all so beat. Thank god i am on leave the next day. I will sleeping like a dead log tonite for sure!
