Spring cleaning day!

No more lazy Sunday. A day i used to spend just bumming around, watching tv from the moment my eyes see daylight to the time they go back into dreamland. But, today is a special Sunday. It is the last weekend before my Hari Raya Aidilfitri. The day all Muslims look forward to celebrating, after a month of no food and water!

My morning started at around 1030am. I had to get up from my bed... even though i did not want to. But the screamings and yellings from the human siren.. a.k.a. my mum, was too much to endure. I surrendered and headed straight to the bathroom to have my shower (Oh yes people, i showered early today!).

Everyone did their fair share of work (except for my stepdad of course. His role is special -> Bumming, making lots of noise either from his lips or from the "keronchong" he likes to listen to from the Indonesian radio channel!). My mum did the kitchen... rearranging some stuff while my brother vacuumed, mopped and polished the furniture. Meanwhile, i snapped pics of them busy at work! Hehe...

My mum below -> super shy! She doesnt like to be seen without her tudung. And see how "amoy-ish" she looks! super cute mummy!!!

And my bro, on the other hand... waxing the legs of the dining table! He is actually trying to pump up those muscles! Go bro..

As for me, I did the laundry, swept the floor, and tidied the living room. This lasted for a good 4hrs!!! Next, was my room. Ohh... the mess it is in right now! And the dust! The one yr old dust that has been accumulating without me knowing!!!! To show u just how "clean" my room is.. take a look at the colour of the water. This was the water i used to rinse away the dirt on the cloth! Get ready.. its realli yucky! Haha... can u imagine the filth that surrounds me all this time.. eewwww...

But, with my magic wand (and my 3 hrs of hardwork), my room was transformed from a pig's sty to a princess alcove! *wand swirling around.. flicker flicker*

Now.. let us see the condition of my house during the spring cleaning! Tunggang langgang! --> Also means messy like hell!

At the end of the day, my house looks spic and span! Its feels great to have a clean home... ahhhhh....

A little digression.. i did squeeze some time to decorate my phone cover, while i was cleaning my room. Take a look at my Nokia mobile pouch... Wif all the bling bling stickers! Nice huh??? OK.. its nt the nicest thing.. bt wat the heck.. i love it!
