Sypnosis of Our day @ Geylang Serai

Geylang on a Friday--> You are in for a good show! The streets were jammed with vehicles (you name it--> cars, bikes, lorries, vans. All sorts of transportation people use to enjoy the festive season). I was in geylang much earlier to get some food with my Chinese frens, Kelly and Regina. I was so excited to let them try the famous Putu piring, ayam percik, deng deng and of course our very own, Burger Ramli!! Regina was like a little girl, gleaming eyes and drooling lips looking at the our Malay delicacies.. hehe.. WHIle Kelly stood poised and cool, as always with his new haircut!

They left soon after they had bought their food. I was accompanied by my sweety and dearest Aishah. We walked around, browsing and enjoying the scenes. Not to mention, we were suffering under the extreme heat, that surrounds Geylang Serai! It is like a freaking steam room/ sauna... everyone of us were sweating like a pig (*khinzir), our bodily liquid could be felt flowing down our backs non stop! EEE.. gross! Sticky arms brushed one another as all of us squeeze our way through the heavy human traffic. All sorts of "newly launched perfume" could be smelt as you wonder further into the busy bazaar.

Besides the unimaginable torment(all sorts of people, smell and attitudes), we did manage to take some pictures to remind us of the scenes of Geylang in the month of Ramadhan.

First pose:
Aisha and beloved brother!

Second pose:
Mr Vanity himself... looking good as always huh??!

Third pose:
Snipets of the life in Geylang

Oh.. before i forget... i happened to visit the store that belonged to that "hungry she-wolf" i told you about in my earlier entry. Ladies and gentleman... pls beware of this store below. She is the woman in blue! The colour expert who is in desperate need of service training! And of course surrounding her are her equalli lame children! FYI-> She was still as gloomy and unfriendly looking last nite. I think she must be reaching menopause.. hence d regular bad moods.

And finally, check out this pakcik. He was standing in front of Tanjong Katong Complex selling off some goodies. Lelong lelong! Teringat aku pada zaman silam.. zaman2 Ibrahim pendek! Haha. Keep on rocking uncle!
