When Someone Got You...

Soulmate... the word that lingers in my mind almost all the time. Is there really a soulmate for everyone of us? If there is, have you found him yet? I definitely have not.. at least nt in the past. But i do witness some of my frens who are so happy with their other half. They share everything: their laugh, cry, and even hopes and dreams. Is that what an eternal partnerhip/marriage all about? To Jun, Maya, Siti, Azkiya and Elia. I am so happy for you girls. Glad you have found yours. :)

Anyway, my esteemed writer friend Mr Sarcasma, wrote an account in his blog about soulmates the other night after our long late hour conversation. Caught me off guard, cos it is a topic i nvr tot he would write about.. nor even think about it. We often say we both are our own evil twin.. cos we often complete d sentences for each other most of the time. And we used the exact same words repeatedly.. kinda telepatic! Freaky too i must say.. I JUST met the guy for like 3 weeks! And it seems like years... I cant even recall the last time i had that kind of "magical" powers on any of my ex's.. haha...

So here it is.. it's a sweet entry from a guy, i must say. We get such a blog mostly from a woman.. emo sikit la dia malam tu..hehe

These SPECIAL souls dun come round in ur life dat often. Perhaps once every few years, sometimes once after 10yrs. You will know it when it happens to you cuz it simply feels AMAZING... dat kinda feeling u get when someone somehow ...juz 'GOT' u. :)

SOULMATES - Do they exist?
...ive always asked myself this "is there someone out there who is only meant for you?"...wat r the chances of actually meeting him or her? Supposedly the Chinese believe that "God made us in pairs...... something that goes along the line of God paired us by tying our ankles together using some sort of red string that is only visible to immortals. Then He sends us down to earth leaving us with a quest to find our other half. When we do succeed, the red string tying the both of you & your partner, can be seen again.


Another weird site actually had a mathematical equation for "soulmate ratio", which is like a cost benefit ratio Soulmate Ratio = Total Love Benefit / Total Love Cost "Your soulmate is the person who will maximize your soulmate ratio and vice versa. If another person exists that has the ability to give you a higher soulmate ratio than the person you are with, then the person you are with is not your soulmate."

I feel that Soul mates doesnt necessarily mean the person has to be ur lover or spouse. It can be in any kind of relationship, which do not always include romantic love. Frens can be soul mates...best frens better still...We tend to think of our soul mate as The One who is there for us and to make us feel complete. A soulmate for me i guess can even be someone who is a total opposite of u but can read ur mind and soul..Someone who balances the Yin and the Yang i guess..

Hmm what do u guys think? Is there really such a thing as soulmate.. i found this quote on soulmate which shall be my ending statement. Till then.. let this be just a inquisitive subject in the hands of the higher power.. only time will decide all.
