MCR concert! Rox..

The princes of darkness and pioneers of Alternative Rock were in SIngapore Last night!!!

They sooo COOL! The lead singer, Gerard Way, could so sing live, and the band was just amazing!!! They played all my fav songs, except DisEnchanted! I tot they would do that as a closing piece.. but hmm.. didnt unfortunately... ;(

But I was very pleased with the band. So was my brother. Not a HUGE MCR fan.. but their performance was mind blowing. My first rock concert.. haha.. and soo worth the money.

The only disappointment was the organizer. Definitely out in my list, after 4 strikes...

Strike 1: I paid $85 bucks for the ticket (each). This was the 2nd most ex ticket price, supposed to be closer to the stage area. And most importantly, seated. It was bad enough that they reshuffled my seats. Previously the seats i got were at C3, much MUCH nearer to the main stage area. But they had to move us to C5, as the seats at C3 had to be for the organizers! I dnt see a god damn organizer there.. mostly kids! Liars..

Strike 2: They didnt even email me the details for the change, which i have requested like a gazillion time! I had to squeeze my way to the collection counter last night, JUST to get my new seat numbers.

Strike 3: Where we were seated, i could barely see the stage. And bear in mind, this was when everyone was seated. There were 2 big screens on both my sides, hovering over our heads. Unlike the Black Eyed PEas concert, i was seated much farther, but the having the big screen helped! I could still enjoy the concert. UNfortunately, the organizers were a lil short sighted in their preparation. The two big screens were not even switched on! And worse still, everyone stood on the seats just to catch a glimpse of their fav rock band! Imagine my horror! I could not even see a thing! If i was a 2 foot gal, i would not have complained that much. And if i were to stand for the whole 1.5hr show, i might as well bought the $95 tix and b right in front of the stage. I can enjoy a much better view! Idiots!!!!

Strike 4: The concert started late. As usual. An hr later than the time mentioned. And the band just played for under 1.5hr! I have expected at least a 2 hr show.. hmmm

But in all, i had the BEST time with my brother. First tme for him too.. hope u enjoyed the concert bro.. next, Maroon 5, which was said to be coming to Singapore in March 2008!...
