Got the best surprise yesterday. The text came at 730am from a dear gerlfren of mine, AiGhee. The petite gorgeous babe who just came back from D.C for a short stopover here, in singapore (yes guys she is available!!) She is currently doing her further studies on international relations, and as expected, is learning a third language, Bahasa Indonesia. Typical Aighee... she just has such thirst for knowledge. D whole time, we were conversing in B.I, so she could brush up and prepare for her lessons in Bali in a few days time.
We met at TCC, together with Daryl (an unexpected guest to this outing... long story.. sigh!). Anyway, had a great time, late lunch and millions of stories to tell. Of course, most of which came from my side.
Average food @ TCC. Daryl ordered soup -> The fennel soup wasnt as great as it looks. Excellent photography, but a disappointment in taste. And where was the salmon? Didnt see any... hmm.. as for my salad, it was a little too sour, and soggy. The vegetables were not as fresh as they seemed, and where were the pistachio nuts! The only tasteful item on the plate was the salmon. Have to give them credit for that AMAZING smoked salmon.. Aighee's fish sandwhich -> The bread was a tad too hard. Vegetables served as the side dish.. same ones as my salad. And crackers which we assumed were tortilla chips but turned out to be those pappadam u can find @ most Indian restaurants.. Sigh!
Overall, the taste of the food just didnt' justify the overly high prices and 10% service charges (what service was there? hmm)..

Despite the "good" food, we managed to do lotsa phototaking.. ignoring those piercing and curious eyes in the restaurant. Vanity knows no boudaries! Photos were taken from Daryl's very own Samsung U600, touch screen mobile phone. Clear pictures I must say!
Left d place @ around 430pm. Aighee head on to meet another gf of hers. While Daryl and I took a little stroll around orchard road, window shopping. Bought some Christmas gifts for my baby and bestie. Hope they liked them!
Snapshots of the one for baby..
